The Respondent was selected as a Constable in 2005. His appointment was cancelled in 2007 due to being medically unfit ('knock knee deformity'). Following litigation, a new medical board re-examined him in 2009, again finding him unfit. In 2013, relying on a High Court order concerning similarly situated candidates, the Respondent was provisionally reinstated. Subsequently, an inquiry was initiated against him for allegedly obtaining employment by concealing his medical unfitness. This led to his termination in 2017, which was upheld by appellate and revisional authorities.
